I had to resubmit on the 10th since not all of my work experience was captured in the original application. I can’t wait to get the official approval! It took a while to get the recs because everyone was away Labor Day weekend.
Then, we need to organzine our little drink, drunk party before the official ceremony :-)… I am making a list of those name.

Don’t be jealous. Actually, one of the co-workers who gave me a recommendation is working in Arlington-VA. Then, again when he passed, he was leaving living in Indy.

My society was pretty quick. I emailed them, they approved it within 2 hours. GO CFA Society of INDY!
Within 20 minutes, my name was already in the CFAI Directory…
Got it too folks! My society took 3 damn days but it is what it is. Also in the directory! Congrats tibwa!

been over a week on society review. Toronto is slow
I submitted last Monday ( 9/10)and CFA Institute is still reviewing work experience. Has anyone else waited that long? It’s not even with the local society yet. My experience is 100% applicable so not sure what is going on and it’s making me really anxious.
submitted aug 31, took about 7 business days for CFAI work exp review. still waiting on Toronto society to approve

I applied on Friday, August 31. Got approved today. so 18 days total.
It was worth the wait. I just paid the annual dues, the membership directory updated.
Was excited to update my LinkedIn with CFA after my name.
