Just attempted my first practise exam from Schweser yesterday. For the IPS question, I literally wrote out an essay, only to flip to the answers page to see that Schweser provided something like a 2-sentence answer. So my question is, is that length of answer acceptable? Is it sufficient for me to answer according to the text under “for the exam”, and omit the usually lengthy paragrahs under the “discussion” segment?
For the exam section is what schweser says you have to write to get full credit. The discussion is just for your understanding.

Yeah, just feels weird writing a 2 sentencer to answer the question. Even weirder if its purely para-lifting from the passage.
yup, repeat frm the question alot. if they need to fund two children’s ivy league educations, mention it in a bunch of places. can someone tell me if there’s consistency in the different answers out there? curriculum book, schweser, practice exams etc. i think less is better… it’s very hard to write like the institute does some of its answers. almost written like a lawyer would write.
