How religiously should you follow the LOS description?

For example, LOS 62b says “Calculate and interpret prices of interest rate options and options on assets using one and two period binomial models.” In ths LOS, there is description and calculations done on a topic called “arbitrage with a one period binomial model” that includes figuring out portfolio return on a delta hedge. So I am wondering if you all think it would be worthwhile to take time to learn something like that despite the LOS not mentioning it? This may not be a great example and it is only a page and a half of material, but there are other examples where it can be lots of pages and tough calculations that don’t relate to a topic in the LOS. I know Schweser tells us to focus on key words in the LOS like “describe” vs. “calculate”.
