You should brake only as far as the apex of the corner, then power out.

Note that the fastest cornering time usually doesn’t result in the fastest lap time.

Slowing down and taking a breath would definitely be the best way to “brake into” the industry. Nothing worse than some young buck with “passion” to do something that he doesn’t quite fully comprehend.
