I’ve had the hp 12c platinum for about 4 months. I use it only for cfa studying, and turn it off when not using. What’s the battery life on this thing? It’s a small round 3 V battery. WOrried a bit since I don’t have a backup
Should be fine but why take the chance? Change the battery before the test but remember to set up your calc correctly.
Or bring multiple calculators.
My HP-12C battery usually lasts at least 3-4 years, and that’s using it every day at work. And it tells you when the battery is getting low with a flashing asterisk at the bottom. Probably makes sense to bring a spare to the exam just to be sure, but you should be fine.
Does anyone know about the Taxes calculator? I’ve been using it for everyday study for about 5 months…will i be fine? Thx.
Taxes or Texas?
Thanks guys.
Isura, that is bad ass. I would have no idea how to use that calculator.
The leather case is quite badass
wow did not know that the flashing asterisk meant low battery…mine has been flashing for several weeks and i didn’t think anything of it. thank you analyst forum
I think the TI BA2 Plus calculator comes with 2 extra batteries - Toshiba 1.5V LR44s.
