Switching 100% to Lyft.
I land at the Denver airport and call an Uber. Then immediately the driver calls me and asks where I’m going. After he already accepted the trip too. I told him I was going to wash park. He then hung up and cancelled the trip. I got charged for him being a total ass.
THEN!!! The next cot dayum Uber driver asked me for money. Lol. What the hell?
good grief.
Its sub-optimally designed then. It’s absolutely preposterous that someone has the capability to inflict a charge on someone like that simply because they’re not going far enough to make a meaningful impact on their compensation for the ride.
lol. ur new to this im guessing. you can complain from the app. they will usually side with you. you can say they never showed up even if they did and they will reimburse you.
You can dispute the charges. Uber automatically refunds them for me
So Uber #1 accepted your ride, but cancelled and still charged you? Then heck yeah, dispute it!!!
I’m more of a Lyft guy and I’ve never had any major problems.
