I’m not sitting for the exam in december. doing it in june. Plus, I took a 2013 practice exam to see where I stand and made a 62 without even studying, so I am not feeling a whole lot of urgency right now.

Notice how you whined about how everyone else can’t just agree to disagree with you because you’re obviously right? Why don’t you do that? You should instead say, “I know I’m a god with the correct opinion about everything, but you’ve raised some good points and let’s just agree to disagree.”

I have never said I was right. I said it was just my opinion and that Numi should do what he wishes and I am not telling him how to run his business. Everyone just keeps attacking me and calling me an idiot. How can I not defend myself? I dont want to just stand there and take it and be berated.

I love being wrong and admitting I am wrong. It’s a great learning experience and humbles me. I am always the first to admit I am wrong when I am wrong. However, these are opinions. There is no right or wrong to Numi offering a guarantee. It’s my own personal opinion.

Yes, That is exactly what you are trying to do rather recklessly (trying rather ineffectively to bring everyone to ‘my view point’) ! You may not agree to disagree but you can always agree to differ. No, others can not do so because you started the argument (in your words ‘discussion’!) by your question/suggestion and no one unfortunately agreed with you.
Just try to understand the real situation and common perception (if you can!), apply mind (which is easier said than done in your case, since it is still capable of only unidirectional thinking) and accordingly act wisely instead of sticking to same stubborn approach/stance. (unless you are really an ineffectual student of management science !).
Nothing wrong with it till it becomes a rather dim-witted futile pursuit on someone’s part despite knowing he/she has no point to argue due to legitimate counter arguements (remember you started with why Numi should /can’t give guarantee for his services).
Who did say people/I ‘don’t like it’? No one till now said they don’t like it all they tried to say is “come on stop being a contrarian (if unsure of meaning see here)”.
Saying people “can’t take it” does not hold for AF atleast otherwise your thread would have stopped at the most after 50th post! Why people are saying what they are saying is only because instead of really communicating and making a connection with others, you are trying to turn everything into a ‘till-I-die’ debate (not a discussion). Many on AF find this ridiculous, rude, immature, inane, boring, and a huge waste of time (your argument of them not reading it, if they don’t like don’t hold as they only read with a remote hope that you may after all speak something sensible this time!). Common belief is that the people who do this have to feel superior as some of these people might be on a power trip where they feel a need to forcibly superimpose their views, all the time thinking that they are ‘discussing’ for the sake of conversing in what they think is a lively manner (and fun!). Probably, it is simply because, some people like you are just into drama or used to chaos and when there isn’t any, they have to bring it about or they get really uncomfortable and distressed. It’s really kind of sad if you think about it.
I am not trying to push my viewpoint on anyone. I have never suggested that people stop using numi, or that it’s crazy to use him without a guarantee. All I have said is that I personally would like a guarantee, and have justified my stance when I have been attacked an called an idiot. That’s all. I have never tried to tell people that they are wrong for using him or anything of that nature. Just explaining my own personal stance
I had the second round interview yesterday. I probably received a total of 5 technical questions so it was a lot different than I expected. Most of the questions were related to fit type questions. It seemed like the MDs and VPs wanted to see if my personality and style of work would mesh with their group. Most of the interviews were more like discussions than actual interviews. I felt like the interviews went well, but it’s hard to tell. Apparently, I’ll know whether I got the job by the end of next week. Wish me luck! And thanks again to those who contributed to this thread with valuable feedback and insight.
