If you have the CFA, what FINRA exams do you automatically qualify for with out testing? 65? 66?
I think it depends on the state? I know in Florida holding the CFA Charter you are exempt from needing to take the 65 exam.
Per: https://www.finra.org/industry/waiver-guidelines & https://www.cfainstitute.org/en/membership/benefits/waivers
- Part 2 of Series 16 (L1)
- Series 86 (L1 + L2)
- Series 65 (Charterholders)
- IARD State Competency exams (Charterholders)
I am dealing with this right now (or will be shortly). Does anyone know how the process work? Do you just apply for a waiver for the 65 and you are issued the license once it is approved?
