I'm sharing my notes

Hi, I just wanted to take a moment and share my CFA level 2 notes from last year. I used it as a document to keep track of more difficult concepts and higher probability questions so it is not inclusive of the entire curriciulum but it is very thorough.

Please email me any corrections. Also, I am in the job market, so if there are any job opportunities in New York City please feel free to reach out. I would love to speak with you.

Nicely done! They look very compact for a fast and efficient review. Thank you for sharing!

Although, anyone who may refer to these notes should make sure to note the changes to the curriculum this year. Structured products in FI was removed and the PM reading was heavily revised.

Thanks

Much appreciated!

Thanks!

Thanks for sharing!

Thank you very much!

Thank You, wish I had made notes like that. You`ll receive good karma for sharing with others in need.

wow nice

Nice, thanks mate.

Thank you very much. Got printed and read it carefully.

Thank you Very much… this is Gold… btw did you clear the L2 exam last year?

I am also curious to know that.

yes i passed. i’m currently studying for level 3

Thanks! How did you feel the difficultuty of the level 2 exam compared to CFA mocks, EOC ?'s, and Schweser Exams (if you happened to use them)?

i would say the actual exam material is easier than everything you’ve practiced but the test environment creates a lot of anxienty which changes your perception

i think EOCs, mocks and schweser are good practice. i heard konvexity has good material

I made a mistake by doing finquiz mock exams. they are pretty difficult and there are many errors, so i ended up spending a lot of time at the end worrying about minutia that cfai would probably never test on and if they did its not worth spending 1-2 hours gaining a deep understanding on a question you have a 33% chance of guessing correctly as you will be better off allocating your time to “low hanging fruit”

i realize that when i converted this docuement to the new version of microsoft word the formatting is weird

Would you say it’s easuer because of the culmination of all the knowledge leading up to that optimum point?

Or were the concepts actually straightforward and clean? I.e. you would’ve scored very well if it were a mock?

Thanks for sharing your insight Sharpie… also, did you skip any topics when it comes to prep or skimmed through certain topics, if so which ones?

In my situation… i have skimmed through the econ, alternatives and PM… however i think i have gone deep enought in FSA, Equity, QM, CF

curious to know how much deep you went the topics that are not as heavy weighted.
