I just picked this book up at the library. Has anyone read it? What are your thoughts?
It is excellent, many traders and technical analysts consider this as a core component of their required education. I recommend Murphy’s Intermarket Analysis as well.
I have this book and another one by Martin Pring. I have only skimmed them though - haven’t had the time to read these things thoroughly.
About 3/4 of the way thru this one right now I think it is awesome…easy to read, concise yet very descriptive…goes from the very simple basics to more complex TA I recommend it big time After I finish this one I’m going to read techinical analysis of stock trends by edwards and magee…many consider it to be the bible

ENFJ > Capital LP haha ok - sounds good. And we can hit up the gym + party after work, etc, as I recall you were paying attention to your omega 3/6s a few months back. My friend might be starting a hedge fund soon (who is an “ENTJ”, triathlete like myself, etc) - he is at a hedge fund now but looking to branch off
I’m a new subscriber to his website, stockcharts.com. Never knew he wrote a book, if I ever get a chance I’ll pick a copy up.
Why would anything in that book work? Does it work? When? Where?

If you are looking for good Books on TA, go to mta.org and skim their reading list for the Chartered Market Technician Level 1 exam.
