yeah except there’s mistakes and then there’s mistakes. Saying that Bloomberg has enough money to give every US citizen a million bucks shows a total lack of understanding of numbers and the economy as a whole. Once listened to a politician talk about budgets and noticed that he didn’t really understand the difference between a million and a billion. Yeah, rock on, just a difference of three zeros. No biggie.
If politicians were smart, they’d talk about illions: 10 illion dollars, 350 illion euro, and so on. Let the listener fill in the initial consonant(s).
