L3 Panic - Please Help!

Hello, All:
Let me first start by saying that I’m ashamed of myself for falling as far behind as I have. I am scheduled to sit for L3 on 6/1, but have barely studied given the recent earnings season as well as a serendipitous and fairly lengthy interview process for another firm. I know there is no “get rich quick” guide to approaching any of these exams, but can anyone here speak to success they achieved on L3 while operating under very, very limited time constraints? If so, what were the key focuses in your study regimen? The silver lining is that I have very few (if any) day-to-day responsibilities between now and the test date, leaving a decent chunk of time for me to dive into the material. I’m just entirely unsure as to whether I should dive straight into mock exams, read through all of Kaplan’s books or watch all of MM’s videos - leaving me in a state of pseudo-paralysis.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Depending on how far you are through the material you could consider deferring. There are windows in September and November rather than blowing your brains out… but up to you. If it’s too late to switch and get part of your exam fee back at least sit it and just get the experience of CBT, you’ll be doing the rest of us a favour

If you are taking the exam, I’d focus on a single topic and give it my best shot - preferably portfolio management or Fixed income. This way you would be prepared for the next one.

I would focus on all your strong areas and just nail those. If you go heavy into a heavy weighted section just because it is worth alot of points you may give up points you could get across the board.

I would do 25% of the topic tests in the sections you know to fill in the gaps you don’t have enough time to really nail 100% of the topic tests and bang out a lot of mocks.

You probably need 3 AM mocks to understand how to actually answer them, and like 25% of the topic tests across all subjects. You can probably do all of that now and review the weak areas. I wouldn’t target alot of AM mocks and I wouldn’t target alot of topic test pick a percentage and knock it out.

Also sit for the exam it makes the curve lower if you do bomb it. You will help us out.
