Does anyone have any experience in setting up a structure in Labuan? I am familiar with Cayman, Lux, Dublin and the channel islands, but I’m not so familiar with this jurisdiction. I’m curious about what some structures might look like, what the double tax treatment could look like, and how they handle the residence of the administrators / managers advisors.
I think you need to get on the phone to someone in Labuan who does this for a living and let them talk you through it. An even better approach is to get your snorkeling gear together and go check it out.
