As a chartered accountant who has passed the CFA exams and has got a 5+ years industry experience, How can one breakthrough into investment banking as an analyst if based in a country with an inactive capital market and Banks fail to keep an investment banking division. Any Hope?

magic 8 ball says doesnt look good for you but keep trying i guess… prob didnt think through this with realistic view to begin with. dont try for investment banking shoot for any role involved at all - look for RIA’s and any other wealth managers
are you just looking for a title change? if the capital markets are inactive what kind of deal experience do you expect to see?
