Leading Indicators

I am reviewing the 2010 AM Exam, was this removed from the curriculum I can’t find it anywhere?

Reading 4.5.2. LEI

Thanks, but looks like it used to be a Direct LOS which is now gone.

2010:

7-24 - Contrast leading, lagging, and coincident economic indicators and explain relationship between these cyclical indicator categories and stock market valuation

2017: Nothing to say describe/contrast/ etc actual economic indicators. Just know that relationships change over time and they give out false signals. Nothing specific from the reading.

Yep, confirmed by Kaplan!

I would say that this question is no longer relevent.

Flashback is right. It is very much still in the curriculum and that question is absolutely still relevant. Reading 15… they go into great detail about the leading indicators around the world for 4 pages (start at page 80) and even give a nice summary table of the all the leading, coincident and lagging indicators at the end… perfect for a contrast question. Reread that part. Good luck.

Which LOS is this?
