Level 2 and level 1

so i have passed level 1 in a not so easy manner hahahaha. I had to study so much because im more about marketing and data analaysis (predictive) than accounting and finance. anyway now that this is under my belt (no pun hahahhaha) how is level 2 ?

u r in for a tough ride. L2 is still accounting-intensive and finance-intensive…

you’re f’ed

quantwannabe, you taking level 2 in june? You’ve started studying right?

No :((((

Its ok. u can still fail pass the exam easily if u cram in the last week before the exam.

RIP

level 1 is a comfortable swim in a 5 foot deep indoor swimming pool.

level 2 is a not-so-comfortable swim with 5 foot waves at Waikiki in Hawaii with sharp rocks just 4 feet under the water.

level 3 is a pleasant swim at Waikiki in Hawaii with normal waves with sharp rocks just 6 feet under the water.

Just do it!

It’s not a lot of money to sit in an exam and i’d rather do something and potentially fail and not do it at all. IF you try it and fail and figure CFA is not your thing, you have spent a few hundred US dollars and a few months to find out - what’s the alternative? How are you spending your time or the money otherwise???

Everyone’s in different life situation, i’d say don’t miss a great job opportunity or your child’s first step over the CFA exams, but otherwise it’s a pretty small investment.

Good luck~

OP, are you registered for the Level 2 June exam?

yes. But not official ( what i mean by officiality is I haven’t started studying).

Don’t worry quantwanttobe, you’ve got plenty of time. So long as you’re putting in a good 10 hours of studying per day for the last 30 days, or 20 hours per day for the last 15, you should be fine.

You can do it, but only if you’re like this guy:
