Leveraging CFA in software/technology industry.

If it’s anyone here who know how to leverage CFA Charter in software/tech domain?

Basically software products act as an extension/optimization/automation to any industry. So the answer most likely leads to possibility to work with finance software products. Still it’s interesting to learn from other people experience.

If you finish it it will be an advantage over the rest of applicants in finance software industry.but over all the experience is much important in technology.you can have a better use of your time than pursuing the cfa if you plan to stay in technology ,if you think it will help you get to pm roles or financial analyst it wont.You can read my story to have a feeling for what i say.http://www.analystforum.com/forums/cfa-forums/cfa-general-discussion/91344189
