Why does the May 2021 bonds doesn’t pay a coupon in 2021. The investor should receive its principal as well as the coupon for 2021.
Am I missing something ?
principal is 4,980,000. coupon is 273,900. combined together this sums into 5,253,900 which is enough to retire the 5,250,000 liability.
