That makes him the half-brother of the president’s father. He resides at 37 Charles St. in Framingham and is being represented by attorney, Margaret Wong. A spokesman for Wong’s office, Mike Rogers told the Metro West Daily News that Ms. Wong is also the attorney of record for O. Obama’s sister, Ms. Zeituni Onyango a resident of South Boston. Ms. Ohyango is the subject of ongoing immigration litigation. Reportedly she is fighting deportation as an illegal resident. Her brother is also alleged to be living in the United States illegally. The arrest occurred on August 24 in Framingham after Obama’s car made a sudden turn that cut off a police vehicle. The Framingham police officers reportedly detected a strong smell of alcohol while speaking to Obama and ordered him to take field sobriety tests, which he failed. A Breathalyzer was administered and his blood alcohol level measured .14, almost twice the legal limit of .08. O. Obama was promptly arrested and once authorities ran his information through their system they discovered the outstanding immigration charge warrant. At an arraignment the next day, the subject pleaded not guilty. Ms. Zeituni Onyango was curt with media when contacted to discuss her brother’s incarceration. She told the Boston Herald, “Why don’t you go to 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. in Washington, D.C. and ask your president? Not me.” She terminated the conversation after that. When Mr. O. Obama was asked if he wanted to make a phone call to arrange bail, according to the arrest report, he told police, “I think I will call the White House.” The London Times reported that Mr. O. Obama is mentioned in the president’s book, “Dreams from My Father,” where he is referred to as Uncle Omar, “the uncle who left for American 25 years ago and had never come back.” Image: Framingham Police, via the Boston Herald

Surprisingly little traction so far.
I have drunk uncle too. He doesn’t call me when he gets thrown in jail though.
i think the title was too nebular…not enough of a hook to draw them in
I’m calling guilty w/ light sentence. If he gets a typical sentence for a DUI while living here illegally, he’s facing deportation for life.
It should have read “Obama arrested fir DUI”

I bet charges won’t even be filed against him after everything settles.
Obama’s extended family situation is even more wheels off than mine. Is long on a not guilty verdict the same as short on a guilty verdict?
