MAGA

I don’t think that they’re delusions for Donald anymore. He’s the president of the MFing USA. His grandeur is reality now.

So then the question becomes, to what degree is he able to actually shape the narratives he’s describing, and the degree to which he’s able to delegitimize the narratives of those who are not with his own narrative, and the degree to which facts are relevant or constraining to this narrative driven reality of his.

I’m talking about things like what I described in this post:

The degree to which he can make blatant lies, or to an extent narrative of events, and then actually expect the rest of the world to line up behind it.

^What’s your native tongue?

English (Massachusetts all my life). I’ll also note that I have a philosophy degree, so I may be a bit wordy.

this chair guy is a bit off his rocker

We live in weird times, my man. I’m just doing my best to try to understand what’s going on.

Also, good pun

Gorsuch holding up good in the hearing today. Crybaby Chuck Schumer and his gang of snowflakes got nothing on this cat. It’s funny listening to these Dems bring up “dark money” funded campaigns when it suits their interest to do so.

dark money = liberals deep state

Just started reading the book Dark Money this week. One of my liberal drinking buddies recommended it of course.

I’ve not watched the hearing, but did read some of the questioning from Sen. Leahy and was amused with the number of times Leahy tried to get him to give an opinion on Trump’s travel ban. Given enough time, I think the senator would have gotten to the point of asking: “Okay, there’s a Muslim man wearing an explosive vest, carrying an assault rifle, and chanting death to America. In your opinion, should he be allowed to board a US bound flight from Tehran, or should he be stopped because he’s Muslim?”

I independently developed my own socioeconomic cycle theory and have been using it for years in forecasting. Just found about about their model last week. It agrees with my model, but is much better. It’s basically like gravity, it’s real. These patterns do exist.

Humans are so dumb, SAD! :sob:

Fourth turning.

Like stock market crash of 1929 thru WWII 1945, economically working thru that, international conflict, and purge of irrationals from the 20s.

Can we pause for a moment, why does birdman12345 have a avatar that is a chair? Did I miss something? Shouldnt it be some sort of… bird… man?

While I appreciate the sentiment that garland should’ve gotten a heading and probably approval, I think this is a shitty thing for schumer to do. At the end of the day, the question is whether or not gorsuch is qualified and whether he can be trusted to faithfully apply the constitution. Gorsuch meets both of those. Denying him now is just as bad as not hearing garland. And when it comes down to it, the justice are unanimous or almost unanimous most of the time, it’s just whether or not the liberal activists will be able to push their most controversial preferences through the court and circumvent the legislature. Fuck schumer. He should’ve voted to confirm and lodge his complaint publicly.

What’s not to like about a good chair?

And my god, what a video.

Side note- Highly recommend the movie Birdman. Probably one of Michael Keaton’s best performances. The cinematography is fantastic.
