The “they go low, we go high” thing makes for a nice sound clip, but it doesn’t do ■■■■ in the real world. The GOP and their base are shameless. Not only that, they revel in their shamelessness. They know what they are and they love it. They wear it like a badge of honor. Until the Dems accept that and start acting accordingly, this country will continue to descend into a corporate-owned, right wing theocracy.
I think the big difference is that the GOP and Trump usually go after an individual or a small group (like crooked hillary, sleepy joe, crazy bernie, governors). The left goes after wide swaths of people, calling tens of millions of people deplorable, racist, sexist, homophobic, xenophobic, stupid.
They won’t learn and will never get people on their side by insulting them.

Put yourself in the shoes of a moderate who voted for Trump, the person who was on the fence. Do you think those people are going to say, ■■■, i made a huge mistake, i really was stupid like CNN says I was. Or do you think they will double down and vote for Trump again?

A hypothetical voter such as this is an adult and can make up their own minds and take responsibility for their decisions. If the past 3+ years hasn’t convinced them to vote against Trump, they were never going to vote for a Democrat anyway. Blaming the media or people like me for their votes is just choosing a scapegoat for their own lack of civic principles.

The past 3 years have been GREAT, aside from the coronavirus which is no way President Trump’s fault but he’s doing a great job handling it. Based on his results, I can’t see why anyone wouldn’t vote for him. Promised made, promises kept.
Low rates. Low taxes. I mean that set us up for failure. Higher rates would have killed these retail stores a long time ago and they would have already been repurposed to something more useful. Our markets took on a lot of debt because of trumps policies and now a slight flu was able to bring everything down. Trump is the person to blame and he needs to be removed. He favored short term gains for long term pain.
As long as things don’t fail on his watch, his hands are clean, right?

Thanks bro. I would certainly step up if called upon, but I am more of an adviser type, a consiglieri if you will. I see all the angles and the motivations of all the players and can devise the optimal course of action. But I prefer staying behind the scenes. Perhaps HPR and I can form an exploratory committee.
In any case, I have given my life over to God and will do (His) will, whatever that may be, much like our beloved Trumpy Bear.
We have the gold. The beast system no longer has a host, so the only pain will be with the banking parasites. Trump keeps hinting at it with student debt – “6 months, maybe longer, we’ll see”.
If I run for president some day and win, I could see you as someone the media refers to as “people familiar with the matter”, like a real one, not one of the ones they make up.
