MBA & CFA & no experience & poor economy

Just read everything from start to finish for I really admire your persistence and level of detail. I remember 2009, such a terrible time period. I was just a Ucla student then, but mom had cancer, we had money problems (withdrew from 401), disability leave, and our mortgage was adjustable and set to rise, I had to do a loan modification for them and I even had to work at kfc to help make ends meet! What a shit storm that defined our generation. Anyways your story is inspiring man! Really glad you shared because it reminded me how we all need to be a little grateful to our employers who took a chance on us. Lotta people in my class couldn’t get jobs, many I felt were more awesome than me. So it definitely was a crapshoot. Like I still remember when I graduated, there were people who were cum laude and many had plans to spend time with family or relax. Everyone lulz cuz they knew what that meant. Aka couldn’t get a job! My consulting job was actually collecting info on what people did at work! Lol I felt like I was violating their privacy. Anyways I heard they were doing layoffs later on and shutting shit down. Not sure if it was related to work that we did, but everything was about cutting costs during that time period. The first co I worked for had so much work due to the crisis that they hired 10 mofos out of college to collect data. Per diem, hotels, rental cars , flights! I got to sightsee America in turmoil! My first hotel room was the penthouse suite at mandalay bay in vegas! It was awesome!
