Hi all,

There is someone in social media that claims to be CFA charter holder (he has these 3 letters in his username).

I’ve tried to verify it in this link where I believe all Charterholders are listed:

However I couldn’t find it.

Is it ok to write CFAI so that they can verify it? or should I just forget about it because it’s not my business?

Possible reasons that person’s name didnt show up:

  1. Decided not to enable list name on the Directory
  2. You entered the first name and last name in the wrong order
  3. That person used a different first and last name that you didn’t know of.
