Missing battery cover on calculator = ok?

I realize no one here knows the answer to this, but my backup calculator (12c) is missing the battery cover on the back. This is my backup so I’m not overly concerned, but does anyone know of a reason why it WOULDN’T be allowed in the exam? I know some proctors can be really picky on some of this, but would they reject a calculator due to a missing cover?

Again, not really expecting anyone to be able to rule definitively, and it’s my backup calc (I plan on bringing backup batteries too), would just like to prep myself in case there’s some bizarro proctor rule on calculators I’m not aware of.

It’s your backup? Don’t spend another second sweating it.

Wrap it in duct tape.

They might hold an emergency meeting amongst each other and decide if it’s ok or not. It’s your backup so don’t worry too much about it.
