Obi-Wan was being hypocritical in his statement “only the Sith deal in absolutes”; this statement is quite absolutist once you think about it. In fact, the Jedi in general tend to view the world in absolute values - like light vs. dark. The Sith, on the other hand, acknowledge subjectivity in their philosophy: “evil is a point of view”. It is unclear if George Lucas was trying to depict this apparent hyprocrisy in the movies. If the prequels as a whole were any indication, it is possible that he just brainlessly threw lines into the script, ala “Anakin, you’re breaking my heart!”.
He just brainlessly threw a lot of junk into the prequels. Like Jar-Jar or 'N Sync. Yes, the boy band was slated to play members of the Senate. See http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/'N_Sync.
And let’s not forget the Star Wars Holiday Special!!!
Haha, this thread has taken a turn for the better. Honestly, even I thought Black Swan was female when I originally joined AF. Like someone above said, I read Black Swan and immediately think of Natalie Portman. Plus your older pic was kinda ambigous, sorry, lol.
I thought it was obvious that “BS” was ref. to the movie in 2010. (Even she, oops, sorry, he joined this forum more than 5 years ago, a few years before the release of that movie.)
