So I was getting one or two questions right per vignette in the am section and about 5 or 6 right in the pm section. It’s like I only studied the afternoon part, anyone else get such a big discrepancy between the two parts?

These mocks are pretty tough! Seems like there’s always quite a discrepancy between the difficulty levels of am and pm. I’m in the same boat for the 2011 mock: 60% in the am and 70% in the pm. Looks like I’m just about at the cut off line, I hate this feeling of 50/50! I’m just exhausted, and looking forward to getting on with my life! Good luck to all!
I was able to scrape through the AM session with a 70. I was all 3s, 4s, and 5s. Less than ideal. What’s up with the 5 page vignettes? I couldn’t even spread them all across my desk. I’m taking the PM session in the morning. Hopefully it’s a little easier.
i jus did the morning mock, got 77% … the intercorp one was ridiculous … i think glancing through q’s before reading set is a good strategy … probably not gonna do PM if its easier. gotta review AI, Deriv, FI, Econ, Quant and Ethics before the exam…red bull, here i come !!! FYI I’ve noticed Quant is almost always Qualitative and people are always worried about it. if your struggling, i’d advise reading the qualitative EOCs in the book… I literally finished that set in 5 mins cause it was just the theoretical stuff … watch now it will be quantitative and ill get fu!ked haha GL everyone !!!
PM was much easier.
My scores were: AM 41/60 (68.3%) PM 49/60 (81.7%) Total 90/120 (75%) I made some stupid mistakes but I am so over doing questions. I did all 6 full Schweser (~77% av), the 2 sample CFAI exams and the 2011 mock exams…Come Saturday I don’t want to see another vignette! Good luck everyone!

I am doing PM, and I am getting my arse handed to me. getting no more than 3/4 right in one vignette.
I wonder how people can score >75 on their first attempt… they must be really over prepared or just too smart?

i don’t think that the afternoon mock is balanced. but maybe it is, i don’t know
AM: 44/60 PM: 47/60 got really lucky with a few questions for the AM and was quite unlucky for a few in the PM. i found the AM’s FRA was a lot tougher than the PM one.
AM was insane, PM a bit better but definitely not good enough. Confidence pretty low now, sucks because I kicked butt on L1, but this is a totally different beast. 
Couldnt’t agree more. Scored low score of 53 at AM and my confidence blown… Havent try PM though, need to enhance those i fogotten… I might be seen here again next year… Sad…
Yeah I felt am was tougher. Am: 46 (2-3 lucky guesses) Pm: 52

We regret to inform u… Only 3% students passed this year.
I scored 70% (42/60) on both and found a few stupid mistakes that I should have known. The other mistakes I’ve all studied and practiced. I also do not like the feeling of being on the fence of passing or failing. If I can perform on the exam like I did on the mocks I’ll be fine. I also think that the pass rate is actually lower than 70% in reality, but aiming low is ill-advised. My theory is, if the real exam is similar in difficulty to the mock and that a person does not cave under real exam pressure, then they will do fine. I have a habit of rushing through questions to get the exam over with, I will have to fight that urge tomorrow and take my time. Good luck to all, this exam is now mostly beyond our control. We’ve done what we could. Come 5PM Saturday I will be one of the happiest dudes around. Cheers!
