Asset Management - I see you like daft Punk if you like that filter french house sound theres a few other artists you should take a look at Thomas Bangalter - one half of daft punk Stardust Cassius Lars Behrenroth and his deeper shades of house podcast There’s alot of non-electro/dubstep out there, you just have to know where to look. Currently listening to Danny Byrd’s - Rave Digger Album which is melodic/liquid funk drum and bass
Bass Drum of Death - GB City Yeah their name is pretty dumb, but this album is absolutely ridiculous. Imagine the Beach Boys doing a lot of psychedelics, then having relations with The Black Keys and The Ramones. I recommend “Get Found”, “Leaves” and “Heart Attack Kid” for starters

Check out Aeroplane/The Twelves, I think you’d like their sound, like a funky daftpunk meets modern/classic tracks smashup.

Mumford & Sons. I can’t believe this thread is still going on. Glad to see ASSet MAN hasn’t been plucked from the general AF population yet.
Little Dragon - Twice Damn thing hit a chord for me… http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yedD4JsZyT0&feature=related

Yea +1 JCOLE +1 Jensen’sAlpha Mums & Suns is great music
on the rap scene went back n listened to old Wu albums …suprised at how good the production on the pillage by Cappadonna was/is …unfortunately the lyrics dont always match… pusha t fear of god mixtape is also good but be warned it’s a bit one dimensional… stephen marleys latest -mind control is very very good songs jah army and no cigarette smoking are my faves
Capadonna had to be the most wack member of the Wu-tang Clan.
london theophilus is on the come up.

Choose the sword, and you will join me. Choose the ball, and you join your mother in death.
Eminem is a horrible rapper. His lyrics/gimick have just worn out and are lame. Are we all agreeing here? Could it be safe to say his music will not be on the radio in 10/15 years and he will not go down as one of the best to ever do it? I don’t even think he’s in the top 10. Discuss.
eminem is a gifted rapper when serious …and yes he will have to go down as top 20 to do it…he kills guest features…funny enough im not really an eminem fan per se
Close to top 10. He comes hard sometimes, dude’s flow is mad witty. I’d probably give him top 10, although haven’t calculated it to say for sure.
