Indeed. Apparently she tried to end it several times. She wrote songs for Madonna, Beyonce and Katy Perry. She refuses to show her face on stage and you can even catch interviews with her on Youtube where she turns her back during the entire interview.
I didn’t know this. I did think it was odd she was staring at the wall while singing during the performance. Her music is very unique so it’s refreshing to listen to.
