His voice is a little higher pitched and doesn’t have as dark of a sound, but I’ve seen them in concert and he sounds just like him when they play the older songs. I like most of the album a lot though…lots of harmony and pretty tough guitar. Between them and Chevelle, there’s finally some stuff out there with some balls!

I’m heading to Austin tomorrow for ACL. Can’t wait to see Pearl Jam. Their new album is great.

http://pitchfork.com/p2k/ there’s a top 500 tracks of the decade list, although i don’t really agree with the ranking. But that’s not the point, there are lots of bands/artists i’ve never heard of and listened to their music and surprisingly they are really cool. Hope you’ll like it!
Dubstep (Burial, Benga), Dethklok, Gnarls Barkley, Plaid, Bloody Beetroots, and as always, lots and lots of classical guitar, mostly practicing though.

Every single track fits the style Raekwon was going for and each producer really brought their ‘A’ game. Mean Streets is an awesome track, goes back to that hard hitting grimieness that you’d expect on Wu album. It’s really tough to pick just a single track off this as a favorite though, it really is one of the few albums that is solid from start to finish.

Raekwon always comes out with good stuff and the first one is obviously a classic.
The new Tiesto Club Life came out yesterday. Im on listen #4. Good stuff. That and Deadmau5, Guetta, Daft Punk, Justice. Listening to crazy French techno is great when flying around in Excel.
Just picked up the new Michael Bublé cd: Crazy Love … So far so good.
