I have one year experience working in FP&A and I am a CFA level II candidate. I want to be in investment buy side. I’m applying for investment analyst, operation analyst positions. What else do you recommend? Is there any license or classes I can learn and obtain skills so my resume becomes more attractive?

as you probably know, the FP&A path is very different than a buyside investment analyst path, the younger you are, the better your chances of crossing over
operations analyst is also very different, not sure why you are pursuing this road? foot in door I’m guessing. But you should know it’s not a sure thing to cross over from there either
get to know the systems like Bloomberg tools, look at as much fundamental analysis work you can
