If you are expecting instant riches after passing level 3, you will be disappointed. It takes a while to get the letters after your name anyway, even if you already have the requisite experience. I think having CFA on your CV is helpful in finding a better job, but no more than that.

top funds in the country might (not guarantee) call you to offer you a research position if you pass. Just like that straight out of the gate.
