The Cowboys are impressive. They have 3 first round picks on the offensive line. They aren’t the sexy QB, RB pick, but it’s the battle of the trenches that wins you games. And that explains a lot of D. Murray’s success. I had Murray on my fantasy team the last 2 years before swearing never to draft him again. Starts off the year with 6 staright 100+ yds and looks healthy for the 1st time of his pro career.

Murray’s two biggest problems -

  1. Gets hurt every year (not yet this year)

  2. Fumbles the ball (lost one in 4/6 games this year).

Not to pour salt into an open wound for Giants fans, but…

If you’re down 27-0 with time for one play left in the game, do you attempt a field goal? Do you attempt to score a touchdown? Or do you just kneel down the ball?

Yesterday, the Giants looked like they were going to kick a field goal to avoid the big goose egg, then they though better of it and tried to score a touchdown.

My .02 - just kneel down the ball. Kicking a field goal would look petty and stupid. And running a “real” play runs the risk of getting somebody hurt.

You’re down by four touchdowns. Just get the hell outta dodge as quick as you can.

I half agree, but 27-3 or 27-7 doesn’t look/feel as bad a few weeks from now. I need the Giants to get back to losing, nothing worse in the NFL than being mediocre.
