As a Packers fan I will miss playing against Cutler if that’s the case… However, will also miss seeing his wife every now and then in the division news.
Think maybe the Jets would be a good fit; can’t see Cutler going to a smaller city if he leaves Chicago.
I was really hoping the Cards would remain unbeaten at home this year. Bleh, now the road to the Super Bowl for the NFC is going to run through Seattle. They are hot at exactly the right time.
It could go through Dallas–if Dallas wins, Seattle loses, Arizona loses, and GB-Det ends in a tie. (I’m not holding my breath.)
Or if Arizona wins and Seattle loses, Detroit beats GB, then it goes through Arizona.
Or if Detroit beats GB, Arizona wins, and Seattle loses, then it will go through Detroit.
Or if GB wins and Seattle and Arizona lose, it could go through GB.
In other words–nobody really knows anything about the NFC playoffs. We know that Dallas is a divison winner. Other than that, nobody else has clinched the division.
Any given Sunday but Seattle looking pretty dominant. Not as good as last year but still better than just about everyone else, and certainly everyone else in the NFC if they keep playing the way they have been recently.
^ that’s today’s nfl. Flag for everything. It’s like the refs get paid per flag the way they throw them sometimes. I was livid with the taunting call on the Steelers on Sunday.
I respect Lynch the athlete but I don’t think he’s going through this the right way.
If every player before him displayed that kind of attitude towards the media, the NFL wouldn’t be a $10 billion industry today and he wouldn’t be making the amount of money he currently is making regardless of his amazing performances on the field and his SB ring. There’s a reason the NFL and teams give such a privileged access to the media. I don’t think it’s too much to expect from your superstar to kick a$$ on the field while being accommodating to the people that cover your team in the locker room.
^I actually wish more dudes were like Richard Sherman, and gave WWE-type interviews. EG - the Cowboys have a virtually meaningless game against the Washington team this sunday. Instead of saying “the Redskins are a much-improved team that’s starting to find their way, so we’re not going to take them for granted…”, I want Garrett to say “Let’s just knock the snot out of these piss-ants so we can move into the playoffs where the games really matter.”
