NFL Thread

^ There’s only 1 team coming out of the NFC East. You don’t need to worry about the Skins or Giants.

Hard to believe, but NO is a worse road team this year than it was the last few years. Didn’t know that was possible.

Glad I didn’t draft Brees.

Does anybody else think that Sean Payton looks like Hannibal lecter?

^ No

^^ Yeah, not at all. Lost one pool by 3pts this week on that last game.

Well, about 7 hours to kickoff. Better start tailgating.

yo STL, need quiet game from Gronk and Gastophski, and Kelce to go off

I left Smith Sr’s 36 points on my bench for Calvin’s 3. Woopsy daisy!!! In all srsness, pretty much everywhere I looked at CJ #1 WR for the week. All with a bum ankle that literally had him sitting with the same injury last year. I figured they knew something I didn’t… they didn’t, they just suck at projections.

It’s too bad Eric Berry is out. He could handle Gronk as good as anyone. Instead, Hali, Houston, and Poe will just have to break Tom Brady in two before he can throw the ball. Kelce is basically a younger Gronk. This should be a high scoring game.

Chiefs 76 - Patriots 42

The Chiefs play college basketball now?

You should always start CJ. It’s easy to go hindsight on yourself.

The more I see Sean Payton, the less I’m impressed. He just cannot make the necessary adjustments on the road since his SB 5 years ago. Jason freakin Garrett outcoached him last night. The only game I’ve seen Payton coach well on the road was the playoff game last year vs the eagles where he pounded the ball 80% of the time.

And what about the call last night on the fake punt. Everyone saw it coming. You had to go for it on 4th down but I’d rather have the ball in Brees’ hands in that situation than some punter who has never attempted a pass in the NFL.

love watching brady cry on the sideline
