Once you are listed as a Regular Member, and your dues are paid through next year, you can immediately begin using the designation. As an extra check, you can go here https://www.cfainstitute.org/community/membership/directory/Pages/index.aspx#section-1 and search for yourself. If you see “Your Name”, CFA, then you’re all set.
If not you’ll need to apply for Regular Membership (get your references approved, pay, apply for your local society membership, etc.) It’s been awhile so I don’t remember the exact details but it’s generally along those lines.

Passed, after a lot of worrying. I’m looking at my score breakdown, and I seemed to have a lot of constituents below 90th percentile, along with being below 90th on both AM and PM sessions, but overall score was bang on 90th percentile. Is that possible or is it just the pdf isn’t really to scale?

It’s absolutely possible. Each topic’s 90th percentile mark is skewed higher by those who did especially well in that area. Same with AM/PM.

Pass! Even I didn’t touch 3 papers from AM session. AM result is 50% PM result is 82-83% and still pass.

Finally posting on this forum after a long time. After a shock last year where I ended up on the MPS line kind of fail, great results this time.
Scored way above 90 percentile in AM and just above 90 percentile in PM to score a comfortable 90+ percentile overall. Can’t believe AM which killed me last time seemed more like 75-80 pct marks this time.
Available for any kind of guidance (within my ability).
Finally passed level 3 and finished my CFA journey.
Last year failed with a small margin, this year used the same study strategy and pass with some good margin.
my AM is still bad with around 57% but afternoon improved from 70% to around 80%? (Very close to 90th).
This was a long journey for me and I proved to myself than I can do it. Just don’t give up and doubt about your ability.

Interesting how the results where released today. At first I only wanted to check at night to not share any bad news with co-workers and then bang on 8am cfa email in my inbox. Saw the first posts coming in with passes and could not see from the subject line whether pass or fail so decided to open the mail and thankfully good news
