What exactly contain operating liabilities?

liabilities minus total debt?

Thanks Harrogath, yes this is what I found in financial reporting topic.

What I don’t understand is the following:

ratio ROIC - return on invested capital, which has net operating assets in its denominator. Why do we deduct the debt from the denominator?

I think in the meantime I have found the logic I missed.

Operating liabilities are:

  • Accounts Payable
  • Wages Payable
  • Interest Payable
  • Taxes Payable
  • Unearned Revenue (Customer Deposits)

That’s it, mostly.
