anyone?
I would think between 60 and 70K base. Also depending what is your background and experience.
I am currently a team lead in ops-recon with 2 years of experience.
A lot of companies will look at what you make now and offer you 15-20% more.
thanks for your input yodzinka… any idea on interview questions?
Since you do not have experience in performance, I would not expect many performance-specific questions. When I was interviewing, they asked me what benchmarks were, about duration, return calculation methods and what happens when we have a large flow on the account. Most questions I got, though was about my previous jobs. One piece of advice - if you do get one and you do not know, admit that - my boss was once complaining about interviewees who are often trying to come up with an answer to something they did not know. Good luck to you tomorrow!
update–I have my 2nd round next week…thanx for your time and input everyone
Well done, Priyanka! So, what did they ask you?
1st round was very general. Basically talked about the position and my experience. 2nd round— I actually met the director and she asked me to interpret standard deviation in words…like she gave me an example and asked me to explain it. Then, she asked me how options are priced. Before we left the room, she asked me to describe myself in a way that she will remember me. Also, because I am a team lead now and have applied for an analyst position caught her eye…not sure if that is going to count against me. Now, I am waiting for their reply. They should I should hear back from them by October 6th …lets see… They are still interviewing 7-8 more candidates.
I wd’nt have expected those questions @ all for a performance analyst position …I guess this role might be a bit more invvolved than a standard performance analyst role . Good Luck !!

I don’t knw if she is interested in me…I mean I was the first one in 2nd round.
Priyanka , What industry and what were you doing before applying for this Job? The reason why i’m asking is because i’m working as a System Administrator right now, and although finance was my major i don’t have any work experience in the field. I’m passing the CFA level 1 in december. So for what you have seen sor far, what advice could give, in my job search. Especially I wonder if my resume is going to be overlooked since i don;t have any work experience in finance.
