Pencil to be used

What is more darker HB or 2B? if so Can we use a 2B pencil in the exam to be more safe?

Both are allowed, and 2B is softer/darker. I am using HB and I have never “ran any risks” in the exam.

I used a 2B for L1 and plan on the same for L2. I really like mechanical pencils but I use “real” pencils for the exam because I’m paranoid of a rouge piece of lead ending up the mechanical pencil. Weird, I know but I have a reoccuring nightmare that I use the wrong pencil on the exam and I get a 0%.

I really like working with Faber Castle 0.5HB Mechanical pencil… It give my constructed response answers a neat look. But. I am unsure whether its the acceptable pencil on the Exam or not?
