Pentel Hi-Polymer lead is garbage...

Anybody buy a pack of these to refill your mechanical pencils? I decided to buy a pack to save some money and they keep breaking while i’m writing. The funny thing is that on the package it says “BREAK RESISTANT” and i’m not even writing that hard… *sigh*

Nerdy question, but… 0.5 or 0.7? I love the pentel P207 mechanical pencils with 0.7. Perfect for a long winded mc exam.

I use only Staedtler Npris HB2

.5 lead. they’re too brittle. i think they break apart when my pencil falls off my desk. it’s annoying as hell…

typically, i would have bought a bag of .3’s, but after this thread, i think the .5’s are really going to push me over.
