Received an interview for Performance Analyst. Can anyone give me some ideas what this position is? What’s the challenge of this role ? Job duty on daily basis ? Somehow I think it should related to GIPS?

Probably they hand you a bunch of formulas that you have no control over, and you just plug in numbers every day.

performance analyst of what. equities? fixed income? active mgmt fund? passive? this info makes a big difference
