Just passed my cfa level 3 and looking at furthering my knowledge.
Am thinking of taking the Micromasters Program in Statistics and Data Science as my workplace is sponsoring students to up scale into data analytics (https://micromasters.mit.edu/ds/)
Anyone has experience with this course and how challenging given what we have learned in quant from all 3 levels of CFA (mostly level 1 and 2).
Thank you!
We have learnt considerable quants in CFA which will help in Data Science. In Data Science you will see application of stats that as Regression and K Means Clustring in Machine Learning Aalgorithms. It is a general comment on stats for DS. I havent taken the course mentioned by yourself.
There’s diminishing returns to technical skills, especially as you get older. Business development, brand leadership, presentation skills, etc matter more to climb up the ladder than knowing how to code or model. After the charter, I’m focusing on these things more than technical skills.
