What is your opinion on amount of time sufficient to prepare for CAIA Level I for March 2012. I received the actual book this week and do not plan on using any test prep. I did pass all three levels of CFA exam, completing Level III last June. Is 2 full months sufficient for CAIA Level I?
I feel quite confident that 2 full months will be sufficient. I am in very much a similar situation as yourself; I have just starting studying the CAIA materials (have finished reading and making study cards for Part 1: Beta and Alpha drivers). It seems that the concensus, at least on analystforum, is that CAIA Level 1 is a breeze compared with CFA studies. And given that you have completed the CFA program, I am sure that you will be able to pick up the CAIA curriculum relatively fast. Best of luck in March!
