Prince found, dead

Billy Gibbon’s five octave range should be somewhere on that list.

^where is pugachova and kirkurov?

It has to be based on studio work. Still no nearly seven octave Axl Rose.

I was in class today and the neuroradiologist stopped talking mid sentence, gasped and dropped her phone. No one knew what was up - she was like omg prince died.

I’ve never been a fan of the music but you can’t argue with 100m albums sold. We work in an industry where you can become desensitised to large numbers but when you think about it, 100m albums sold is fucking incredible

I’m not a fan of the whole “no homo” thing but I feel like I need it explained how it gets cracked out for when 1 man compliments another but the above goes unchecked?

“no homo” was a phrase widely used by rappers in the early to mid 2000’s (although used in slang prior). White people obviously jumped on it and started saying it and it went out of fashion really fast. Why anyone says it anymore is beyond me.

Chris Anderson - The Long Tail

I think the thread title should be “Prince found dead” or “Prince found, dead”, rather than “Prince, found dead”. That last version does not have a predicate. “Found dead”, when written this way, just describes the subject, “Prince”. However, we are left to expect some further content.

I gotta thank Prince for helping me get laid that very first time.

There I was, trying to figure out why this beautiful blonde, blue eyed, bust-to-die-for, woman was in bed, naked, gettin jiggy wit me. And then I realized the answer: Prince had put her in the mood. “When Doves Cry,” in particular.

I will never forget.
