Private Wealth Management Interview

I have a second round interview coming up next week for an analyst position in private wealth management for a major money center bank. I’ve cleared CFA level 2 and am a CPA. Currently work for a big 4 in audit. what kind of questions should i expect and how should i prepare. (outside of basic interview preparation obviously, but are there any specific things that i should watch out for or prepare for that you think would be helpful?) looking for some helpful tidbits thanks in advance

analyst position in WM? is this within their discretionary money management service?

yea its in the private wealth management/private banking group. its a 3 year analyst training and development program

Developement progams are money. Lots of breadth to the job which expands your skills. Good luck, make us proud.

agreed. sounds pretty sweet. i interviewed and was denied for a similar position. they basically groom you to be PM

Uhh where? I just got done with a PWM Analyst position interview about 3 hours ago…

district of columbia

how’d it go by the way

*Wipes sweat off forehead* Mine was in Miami. It went pretty well, don’t want to jinx it though. How about yours? When is round 2?

What kind of compensation (salary+bonus) will you guys be starting at? Also, did the job posting refer to the training program? I’m interested in a similar career path and I’ve seen job ads by jp morgan, bac, wells, etc… for these types of jobs but don’t recall ever seeing a training program mentioned.

I believe the position I interviewed for would include a standard training program to learn the prop software. Also, the compensation is still up for discussion (might be; base + performance bonus).
