What’s the likelihood that we would be tested on this?
I’ev skipped it in its entirety. I skimmed through the notes thats it. But not even close to in a position to answer an item set on it so I will go for :

Since its a new subject for 2016 i think its very likely - its very simple should take you more than 1 hour to read it…
why do people say the probability of a new reading being tested is very high? what are you basing that on?
what makes you say it is very likely?
CFA Institute has been inconsistent in how they test new readings. For the longest while they tended to ignore them the first year they entered the curriculum, but tested them heavily the second year. However, in 2011 there was a new reading on taxes in the Level III curriculum, and a very long question on that reading in the morning session (that caught most candidates by surprise).
I wouldn’t ignore this section. It’s not difficult, and they could have an entire item set on it. Easy points if you skim through it a bit.
