where does (14) come from
Median is the middle value of the data set when the data are ordered from low to high (or high to low). Half of the data points are below and half are above the median. Thirteen data points, the 7th is the middle value.
To calculate the 3rd quintile is the 60th percentile. No value listed falls exactly at the 60th percentile, so use the interpolation method. Fourteen is from (n+1) in the interpolation forumula.
14 comes from the (n+1) part of the formula which is basically the number of data points (which is 13) + 1 which is 14.
