I didn’t think I’d see the day where a "technical support analyst job that pays 65-75k + 15% target bonus "
wanted someone “with a CFA”
what’s next? bank teller role with CFA ?

Half the guys here would hacksaw themselves for that job.
It’s coming sooner than you think.
CFA candidates > finance jobs
I got the same email. From Mister P.M.
Lol, just got this too. They want client facing experience also…not sure what this role actually is, they are short on details. Seems different.
Well done itera. Finally a legit exit op from SS ER along with a severe bump in compensation. I’d hop all over it if I was you.
The CFA has become diluted big time. An MBA from a top school is now the only sure bet.
My new employer just sent me business cards. Neither my CFA nor any other letters appear on the card.
I’m tempted to tell them to send me a new set, at least with the CFA letters. Their CFP people surely don’t leave off theirs. I worked darn hard for those letters, and they are relevant to the job.
(Maybe they just don’t want to pay my CFA dues)
It’s not diluted, it’s just not that important. Check the post below yours.
A janitor with CFA… they don’t want their grunt workers leaking out any inside information so they’ll hire someone bound by the Code and Ethics
