Finally… Passed, so happy now
WOW. good stuff Eric. I can’t see mine for some reason. hmmm…
I can’t see mine yet either.
Mine are visible on the “history” tab as mentioned in the email of CAIA. When i click on the Level II results it still says that the grading is in progress. To obtain your general exam results, go to your Account Profile (http://www.caia.org/user) and select the History tab. Under Exam History in this tab, general exam results (Passed, Not Passed, No Show) are listed for each exam in the Status column.
I passed!!! Yay!!! Happiest day ever!!! I wish everyone else does too!
Congrats! Mine still says Pending under the History tab. Must be uploading results right now! Hopefully I passed.
i’m the same as South. i probably failed though. i’m just hanging in there because the odds of passing are better than hitting the lotto…
passed
i see the stats for the last exam: Level I exam, 68% were successful in passing; for Level II, 58%
hrm… caia is so weird. I’m wondering if it takes that long to change the database for couple thousand people… it should take no longer than 5 minutes to update the database!!! I wonder if it’s cuz they’re updating all the passers first… then onto the losers =(
passed…good feeling…
paseed.@Because I had dedicated quite amount of time and the exam was very much harder than expected, it is a great joy that I have done with it. I am a CFA charter holder and think CAIA has its own merit to study deeper compared with the wider spectrum of topics coverd by the CFA body of knowledge.

And today i received the breakdown: Essay: Between 60 and 70% Ethics: Greater than 70% Hedge Funds: Greater than 70% Integrated Topics: Greater than 70% Managed Futures: Greater than 70% Private Equity: Greater than 70% Real Estate: Greater than 70% Damn, and i was worried after the exam if i passed or not. The essay part was so hard i just typed whatever i knew and i left with the feeling i screwed up that part. But 60-70% is not that bad.
I’ve just passed the level I am planning to take the level II in March. I realize Level II will be much harder and also there are quite significant changes in the materials going forward. So I am just wondering will studying the notes and working the mock exam from either Schweser or UpperMark will be sufficient. TIA.
weird how i still haven’t gotten my breakdown (from email) yet.
