just received the email…
I received as well.
Yup… don’t think I am telling anyone though except my wife.
I have received no such email. btw guys dont worry abt ur results. I will be bringing down the curve significantly hehe
I added positive skewness to the curve whilst keeping the mean and variance the same…
if you are adding to the positive skewness, i think the mean and variance would change since the curve wouldnt be symmetrical ( non normaly distributed). but yea i hope you pass!
azzizi, i think mmt was just joking lol but its good to know that you nailed the mv distribution topic
I know he/she was joking. Just wanted see the kind of reaction i got About the exam…i think i had similar questions to what has been discussed in the above posts. I wrote it on the 22nd. I wonder if those writing on the same day get the same exam. Over all, I think the exam is not difficult at all. The mcqs where they give a short case is a bit time consuming, but otherwise, there is some low hanging fruit and it only takes like 3 secs. provided that one has been over the syllabus carefully twice, made notes and taken practice exams and worked on weak areas, the chances of passing are good. Reason I dont expect to pass this time around is because I did not touch 30% of the syllabus, The current and integrated topics due to lack of time.i had school and well, it was summer(those in toronto or nearby will know what I mean)!
Did any of you not receive this mail? I am yet to hear anything from them. And on the top of it, there was some technical glitch during my exam. The screen went off the moment I sat (and the Pearson guy was working on the PC that time). Then the Pearson people said sorry and arranged a second exam after some time. I highly doubt that there is any correlation between this incident and my not receiving the mails from them, but given that I have almost always received their communications well on time, I am a little concerned.
I received the email
Email received.
I haven’t gotten any email. Maybe CAIA is sending us a signal: you did so bad that don’t’ even bother waiting for the results LOL
or may be those who got the email should mark 24th and be mentally prepared for “Register for Level 2”. lol

The email you received announcing the October 24 release of CAIA Level II grades was the invitation to the Candidate Survey. All September 2011 Level II candidates received this email at the primary email address in their CAIA.org profile.
I would really like to get my results sooner than 24th. Tests are computerized and number of candidates are nothing as compare to CFA so they should publish it soon.

Getting the info on Friday when you can rage or drown your sorrows effectively woudl be so much better.
10 more days to go
Feels like it’s been a long wait. Do you think we get emailed or do we log in to our account? Just looked in my diary today at work- have a meeting 9-12 US time on results day. Not good!
