Hello all-
I am currently preparing for the Level 3 exam, having passed the first two, the last two June exams. I opted to purse the CFA exams independently as a challenge and because I studied finance in my undergrad education.
I worked for 2 years for a custodian bank and currently am a supervisor doing factoring lending for clients who opt for LOCs outside of traditional banking. My experience currently is not exactly investment related of course, but involves some credit analysis and a great deal of risk management.
I would like to break into the investment side of things with my next role but it can prove challenging without experience even with the CFA items as they are obviously not a clear path to a job. I was hoping for advice for key points to touch on in a resume when applying for a job in investments and qualities or skills that should be emphasized as sometimes management roles can be a turn off for managers hiring for these roles. Any input or advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
